The Benefit

Like any machine vision manufacturer, high-resolution imaging, artificial intelligence integration, and robust design for durability are what enhances their solutions in the market. Facing the challenges of having a high performance solution with customizable I/O configuration, while still being able to withstand challenging environmental conditions is crucial. The Challenge 

The customer’s overall requirement was a machine vision computer that can smoothly run their machine vision software, integrate their high-speed cameras, and be able to securely operate it in their rugged industrial environment. The customer required the machine vision computer to have a high-performance processor with more than 6 cores and support an enhanced graphics card. The customer also needed front accessible I/O for easy access in their assembly line cabinet and as well a 10GB ethernet card for device communication. Lastly, the customer required the system to be highly durable and reliable in a dusty industrial environment without compromising any of their other requirements, and must have a wide input power range to support their power supply connection. 

With Premio’s off-the-shelf solution, the VCO-6000-CFL-3-2PWR Machine Vision Computer with 9th Gen Intel Core addressed the specific customer needs with no compromises. During the project's testing phase, the customer also realized they needed an HMI to operate synchronously the Machine Vision Computer in their rugged environment.
