Recycling Process

Premio's commitment to being a responsible environmental citizen includes working to ensure that electronic equipment is properly disposed of at the end of its useful life. Premio's computer recycling program makes it easy for you to play a role in helping to protect the environment. 

1. Purchase. When you purchase any qualifying Premio computer you now have the option to participate in the Premio Recycling program. We are working with other states for our recycling program. Currently we have the state of Texas, but will be working on other states to implement as well..
2. Opt in. You will be given the opportunity to opt into the Premio Recycling Program through our form request. To confirm with the purchase the serial number on the back of the computer is what Premio uses to verify. After the form request it takes up to 3 business days for Premio to make that confirmation. click here to go to our Premio's Recycling Form.
3. Erase Personal Data - Premio has no responsibility for the loss or confidentiality of customer data on recycled equipment. Before shipping equipment, the customer should:
   • Delete data on the hard-disk drives and any other storage devices in the products.
   • Back up or transfer any data prior to deletion.
   • Remove any removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or memory cards.

   Once the hardware has been shipped, Premio cannot return it to the sender. Participation in this program constitutes a relinquishment
4. Package. Package your recycled computer and monitor in a box or carton appropriate for ground transportation. Must be packed to ensure product will not shift or break. You must place desktops, notebooks, and monitors into separate boxes. Securely seal each box. Weight limit per package is less than 70 lbs. If you are in need of packaging materials and/or containers to ship your product for electronic recycling, please fill out your request in our recycling form. A Premio representative will reach out and provide instructions on free shipping materials for the recycling process.
