Award recognizes Premio’s compact, fanless NVIDIA Jetson Orin edge AI computer for robotics, machine vision and physical AI deployments
Greater Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA, Sept. 23, 2026 — Premio Inc., a global provider of rugged edge and embedded computing solutions, today announced that its JCO-1000-ORN Series rugged edge AI computer has received an Embedded Computing Design Best in Show Award at embedded world North America 2026. Selected by the publication’s editorial team based on design excellence, relative performance and market impact, the recognition highlights Premio’s approach to bringing NVIDIA Jetson Orin accelerated computing into compact, fanless platforms built for edge AI applications including robotics, machine vision and industrial automation. Premio is showcasing the award-winning platform at Booth #6100, Sept. 22-24, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, including a live NVIDIA NemoClaw demonstration running locally with NVIDIA JetPack 7.2.
“These are the best-in-class embedded systems and products on the market right now,” said Ken Briodagh, editor-in-chief of Embedded Computing Design. “Our Best in Show Awards Submissions have grown every year and it is quite an accomplishment to be selected.”
The JCO-1000-ORN Series is a compact, fanless edge AI platform available in three scalable models to support different deployment requirements. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX Super and Orin Nano Super modules, the series scales up to 157 TOPS for real-time AI inference at the edge.
The three configurations include the JCO-1000-ORN-A for general-purpose edge AI, the JCO-1000-ORN-B with expanded networking and support for up to four GMSL cameras, and the JCO-1000-ORN-C, which adds rugged M12 LAN connectivity for mobile and industrial environments.
Across the series, Premio combines AI acceleration with fanless operation, NVMe storage, CAN bus, isolated digital I/O, wide-range power input and wireless expansion options. These capabilities support applications including autonomous mobile robots, machine vision, intelligent vehicles and industrial automation.

“The JCO-1000-ORN Series was engineered around the realities of deploying AI outside the lab, where compute performance, camera connectivity, networking, power and environmental reliability all matter,” said Dustin Seetoo, VP of Product Marketing at Premio. “Receiving a Best in Show Award reinforces our focus on building scalable edge AI platforms that help developers move from proof of concept to real-world deployment.”
At embedded world North America 2026, Premio is also demonstrating NVIDIA NemoClaw on the JCO-1000-ORN Series with JetPack 7.2, showing how agentic AI workloads can operate locally on NVIDIA Jetson Orin while reducing dependence on continuous cloud connectivity.
