Premio highlights rugged edge computers, edge AI workstations, and fanless mini computers built to support robotics automation, machine vision, and Physical AI applications.
Greater Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA, August 17, 2026 — Premio Inc., a global provider of rugged edge and industrial computing solutions, will be featured at the 2026 Intel Robotics Forum, Taiwan, showcasing its latest Intel-powered edge computer solutions for robotics automation, machine vision, motion control, Edge AI, and Physical AI applications.
The Intel Robotics Forum brings together ecosystem partners focused on accelerating the next generation of intelligent automation. At the event, Premio will showcase Intel-based platforms across multiple performance tiers, including Intel Entry systems with Intel® Processors, Intel Mainstream systems with Intel® Core™ CPUs, and Efficiency Optimized AI platforms powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors.
Premio’s showcase will feature three product lineups designed for scalable industrial edge AI deployment:
- X86 Super Rugged Industrial Computers: Built for demanding robotics, automation, and machine vision deployments that require rugged reliability, flexible I/O modules, and long-lifecycle industrial performance.
- X86 Edge AI Workstations: Designed for scalable AI performance, GPU expansion, and advanced edge workloads where robotics and vision systems require higher compute density.
- X86 Fanless Mini Computers: Compact, semi-rugged fanless systems for space-constrained robotics, machine vision, and edge automation applications.
Premio will also showcase a robotic pick-and-place demo developed with its partner QuadRep Electronics Ltd. The demo uses an industrial Denso robotic arm and YOLOv11 vision AI to identify objects and support automated pick-and-place operation. Running natively on Intel CPUs, the demo demonstrates how AI inference and robotics control can be deployed directly at the edge without relying on external GPU acceleration, supporting a more streamlined and scalable path for industrial automation builders.

“Partnering with Premio allows us to bring Intel-powered robotics applications closer to real industrial deployment,” said Jack Yu Ph.D., Vice President of R&D at QuadRep Electronics Ltd. “By combining QuadRep’s robotics and automation expertise with Premio’s reliable industrial compute platforms and modular, scalable EdgeBoost I/O expansion, we can help customers build more flexible robotics solutions for machine vision, motion control, and intelligent automation across industrial environments.”
The demo aligns with Intel’s broader robotics positioning around simplifying the development-to-deployment workflow for Physical AI. Intel’s forum agenda highlights Intel® Core™ Ultra processors for edge AI and real-time control, OpenVINO™ for AI inference acceleration, and Physical AI development workflows designed to reduce robotics development complexity and accelerate industry adoption.
“Robotics innovation is moving toward intelligent systems that can perceive, analyze, and respond closer to the physical world,” said Dustin Seetoo, Product Marketing VP of Premio Inc. “By leveraging Intel’s strong foundation in edge AI and robotics, Premio is extending that innovation into industrial environments with rugged, scalable, and deployment-ready edge computing solutions built for robotics, machine vision, and Physical AI applications.”
The Intel Robotics Forum also takes place during the same week as Automation Taipei 2026, one of Taiwan’s leading smart manufacturing exhibitions. While Premio is focused on the Intel Robotics Forum, the timing reflects the broader momentum across Taiwan’s automation ecosystem, where AI applications, autonomous robots, system integration, and smart manufacturing solutions are converging to define the next phase of industrial transformation.
