Premio's JCO-1000-ORN and JCO-3000-ORN configurations will incorporate NVIDIA’s new Jetson Orin Nano 2 for compact, power-efficient edge AI
Greater Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA, Aug. 31, 2026 — Premio Inc., a global provider of rugged edge and embedded computing solutions, announced plans to incorporate the newly introduced NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 into its JCO-1000-ORN and JCO-3000-ORN Series. The planned expansion will extend Premio’s NVIDIA Jetson-powered rugged edge AI portfolio for robotics, machine vision, industrial automation and physical AI applications.
Announced by NVIDIA on Aug. 25, Jetson Orin Nano 2 is designed to bring greater AI performance and power efficiency to entry-level edge AI systems. Its compact form factor and improved efficiency provide a new platform for developers deploying real-time perception, reasoning and generative AI closer to machines, cameras and sensors.
Premio plans to integrate Jetson Orin Nano 2 into its rugged, fanless JCO Series to help customers move AI workloads from development into production environments where system reliability, thermal performance and deployment flexibility are critical.
Key NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 highlights include:
- 78 TOPS of AI performance with 8GB of memory and an 8-core Arm CPU.
- 2x inference performance compared with Jetson Orin Nano Super in the same compact form factor.
- 40% lower power consumption at equivalent performance in 15-watt mode.
- Support for large language models and vision-language models optimized for edge inference.
The JCO-1000-ORN Series targets compact edge AI deployments, while the JCO-3000-ORN Series provides a scalable platform for applications connecting cameras, sensors and industrial equipment.
“Jetson Orin Nano 2 brings a compelling balance of AI performance and power efficiency to the edge," said Dustin Seetoo, VP of Product Marketing at Premio. "Premio plans to extend those capabilities through our JCO Series built for applications where compute density, thermal performance and reliability all matter.”
NVIDIA expects Jetson Orin Nano 2 modules and developer kits to become available in the first half of 2027. Premio will provide additional system specifications, configurations and availability information closer to the module’s market release.
